On January 6, Gabriel Cabezas returned for the second year in a row to share his knowledge with our students during a Saturday afternoon masterclass! Cabezas is a sought-after musician who has performed with artists ranging from America’s finest orchestras to the contemporary dance collective Duende. He is also a two-time first place Laureate of the Sphinx Competition, and was awarded the 2015 Sphinx Medal of Excellence for his work as an emerging classical artist of color.
